#100!!
It took awhile (roughly 4 years) but I have finally done it. I have spent about (and the keyword is about) $1,000 on manga as of today. That’s right, I have finally bought the coveted 100th manga in my collection. What better manga to earn that right than Fruits Basket volume 19?
If it weren’t for Fruits Basket, I may never have found manga to be so addicting in the first place.

I think the picture quality is good enough to tell what most of the series I have are, but for those of you who can’t make it out I’ll list the series! (That and the fact I have no life
)
- Ragnarok 1-10
- Fruits Basket 1-19
- The Legend of Chun Hyang (one shot)
- The Wallflower 1-12
- Angel Diary 1-5
- Fullmetal Alchemist 1-15
- Princess Ai 1-3
- Mar 1-10
- Nana 1-9
- Vampire Knight 1-3
- Death Note 1-4
- Lovely Complex 1-5
- Line (one shot)
- Welcome to the N.H.K. 1-3
Most of them are exceptional titles. Mar is a bit too kiddish for my tastes, and The Wallflower has deteriorated into a gag manga.
But everything else is fair game for anyone looking for a brand new title to read. Thought I must warn you that parental advisory notices are on Nana and Welcome to the N.H.K. due to the nature of their stories and some scenes may not be suitable for younger audiences.
I played Disney Scene It? with my brother today. We played about three times and I won every time.
There was this one question where I told him that I’d let him have a head start (before we heard the question) and the answer turned out to be Beauty and the Beast.
For those of you who don’t know I’m like a hardcore Beauty and the Beast fan. I’ve inserted so much information on the movie and the fairytale into the minds of anyone who will listen and have turned my family into tiny Beauty and the Beast experts. So of course, my brother knew the answer in like a second. No more head starts for him!
But by playing the game, we’ve decided that we really need to watch Chicken Little and may end up going on a Disney marathon some time soon. If he actually stays home, we might do that on one of his Spring Break days. If we both remember that is.

Wow, that’s a lot of manga

ooh, and thats so true about The Wallflower. It was kind of interesting at first, then it just got so repetitive and boring

Oh my goodness! You have like, a library of mangas! I have a pathetic collection of mangas. And I know I may sound stupid and cheap, but since I have the ability to download mangas, I just kind of …stopped buying ‘em. But that is an incredible collection. I’ve been wanting to read Nana for a while because the plot captivated my attention.
I also love Beauty and the Beast. I haven’t watched that movie in a while. I liked the Christmas movie. I forgot what it was called, but I really liked it as a kid.
