Playing for Pizza

I recently finished reading Playing for Pizza by John Grisham and am in love with Italy. The food sounds amazing, the driving sounds difficult. I have never in my life driven a manual car, so I think if I ever visited Italy, I’ll be leasing a scooter. ^_^; The book is about a third-string quarterback (which I’ve learned means the back-up’s back-up quarterback) who played the worst performance in NFL history. The only football team who wants him is in Parma, Italy and he doesn’t even know where that is. Though I got a little lost during descriptions of the football games (I am not a football americano fan) I still found it quite humorous and fun to read. :)

For those of you who don’t know, I am obsessed with the drama, Lost. I missed last season because of school and work, but thankfully my dad rented the season last weekish! XD Not thankfully, he made sure that I had every single episode from last season and this season watched by last Sunday. X__X I don’t think I’ve ever felt so lazy in my entire existence. It was just way too much television, but I’m absolutely pumped up about the next episode! I somehow missed all the hubbub on last season’s season finale (how, I’m not sure) so it came as a total shocker to me. Those writers are on a roll and I’d like to give each of them a high-five or a hug. :amaze: Then I would demand to know what is going on and where in the world are they taking the series. With all the character deaths and plot twists, it’s a wonder how I survive each week.

    Heya, just want to say that you’ve been tagged.

    I’m glad you finished watching LOST. I’ve never watched LOST before.

    Hey Italy is where the romance is <3 When I go to Italy I’d want a porshe like Alice’s xD; I’ve watched a few eps of lost…but that was in the first season. It got all mysterious with the supernatural stuff right? LOL, they say television kills brain cells…but at least our generation will be dumb together xD I’ve formed a very close relationship with my TV too <3

    Just to let you know, I’m no longer dead, *cheers*

    You’ve got THE HOST? *dies* Happy reading, can’t wait to hear what you’ve got to say. Ah, its a shame cos My Girl is definitely a drama worth watching..yeah I also have unpleasant memories of dial-up when I used to sit there for hours and wait for something on youtube to load 5 minutes =_=;

    How did you get your reverse culture shock? (I’ve suddenly realised what a delicate but precious matter culture is..)
