For roughly about half a year my dad has made some amazing changes. He’s been eating more organically, taking herbs and vitamins, and exercising regularly. These new health improvements haven’t been forced on any of us (the children) or the rest of the family. However, watching him set this amazing example, especially since he’s quit smoking for over a year now (leave comments about this amazing feat, and I’ll be sure to steer him toward them), has struck a chord within us (the children) subconsciously, and quite possibly the rest of the neighborhood.

After toiling away for half the night last night, I managed to reveal version 2 of the Beautiful Addiction Blog layout. With all the work I’ve done for it, I’ve become a bit more open to the wonderful world of plugins (which make my life easier) as well as experimenting with the default codes. It might take awhile, but one day I’m going to go all out and create a good looking layout for this blog. But first, we must rest! Making too many layouts (especially Wordpress layouts) in such a quick succession can be dangerous to the mind. Or at least that’s my excuse.

I’m now offering to make Wordpress themes on Creative Suites! Thus far I’m only offering to create the bare minimum of pages with the theme. I’m going to guess that the owner has all the plugins that they would want/need. The themes start at $20, which is double the amount I ask for a regular layout. The reason? I code a Wordpress theme in regular HTML before incorporating it into Wordpress. It’s double the work, so I think it’s worth it. But, don’t judge my Wordpress skills on this site alone. The Beautiful Addiction Blog looks so much better and should showcase my Wordpress skills better.

After watching the movie Enchanted Friday afternoon, I went through and changed the entire theme as well as modify some of the pages. It took a day to finish, but I must say that I’m quite satisfied with the results. What do you think of the new layout? And for those of you keeping track, this is my second Disney themed layout for the blog.

While watching the movie, I noticed that I seemed to be laughing quite a bit more than anyone else. Not only that, but I was the only ‘kid’ my age, but hey, the movie was excellent.

The following rant will be a highly detailed overview of Enchanted. For those of you who don’t like spoilers, long rants, or get dizzy by the shear thought of someone analyzing a Disney film, then please do not read the rest. You were warned.
